Chris Dow loves stories. If you were to walk into his house you would immediately be confronted by that fact. Books full of stories have found their way onto most surfaces in his house. Spend any length of time with Chris and a story, complete with hilariously accurate accents are bound to tumble into the conversation. But there is one character that Chris is sure to weave into every story he tells; that's the story of the boy who killed the dragon.
You really won't want to miss this opportunity to hear Chris weave together our stories into the grand story of the boy king, who became a man, conquered the dragon, using a weapon no one expected, and now sits triumphantly enthroned as his followers make their way to his kingdom.

Love
Truth
Matthew Aaron Stanley
Many young men struggle with pride and a spirit of criticism. Well ... Matthew doesn't believe in doing anything halfway (just look if you dare at the mustachio he unashamedly sports). So for a number of years as a young man he drove parent, teachers and his fellow peers crazy as the resident expert on ... pretty much anything.
But in God's stories one element is always present: the patient but unrelenting grace of God. And when God manifested that grace in Matthew's life it has transformed him from a young man who used truth as a bludgeon with which to demonstrate his intellectual prowess, into a man with a tender heart for others and a desire to listen and love more than to criticize.
Come hear the details of how Matt's story is still unfolding.
Zac Jensen
There is nothing more freeing than to rest in the truth. But there is nothing more natural than to lie. For most of Zac's life he lived what he calls a lie. He pretended at Christianity in order to protect his pride and the sin that he had come to depend on.
Though part of him desperately wanted to escape the slavery of sin it's all he could remember. Without it what would life be like? The thought was too scary and so with every day the lie grew bigger and bigger. But little did he know, that the boy who grew to slay a dragon had his eyes on the dragons in Zac's life. Things were about to get messy, but out of it has come the freedom and joy that he always desired but never thought he could have. Come hear the details of how Zac's story is still unfolding.
Faithfulness
Redemption
Kevin Walker
Kevin is a preacher's kid who didn't go crazy and reject Jesus. He's married to a godly woman with one kid and another on the way. He wears collared shirts, and his hair is enviable. And there's no crazy rebellious drug addict biker past he can point to. Kevin's story is a story of God's covenant faithfulness to him by landing him in a family that trained Him in the way he should go and by the grace of God he has not departed. And in our culture of broken homes, marriages, and lives there is so much that we can learn from his story. though it is not without teenage hubris and boneheaded decisions, Kevin's life nevertheless shows what God can do when we seek after Him and forsake the world.
Come hear the details of how Kevin's story is still unfolding.
Greg Oliver
Most of us will never understand what it means to be physically redeemed, because most of us have never experienced life behind prison bars. For Greg Oliver it was precisely the bondage of a prison cell that God used to show him what true freedom is really about. Though the title of this talk is about redemption it could just as easily be called "transformation" because the man you will see standing before you next December is not the same man who entered into that prison cell 20 years before.
Come hear the details of how Greg's story is still unfolding.
